Frequently Aked Questions Regarding Paint Protection Film

What Materials Of Paint Protection Film You’re Using?

Noyark is manufacturing both TPH paint protection film and TPU PPF paint protection film.

How Thick Is Your Clear Bra?

Average PPF thickness is 7.5 mils, Noyark produces 6.5mil, 6.8mil, 7.5mil, 8mil, 10mil and 12mil PPF clear bra film.

How Much Does Your PPF Cost?

For resellers and distributors, the PPF prices depend on the thickness and order quantity, for car owners, cost varies considerably based on location, labor rates, and installer experience.

What Is The PPF Clear Bra Warranty?

Noyark offers up to 10 years warranty from the date of purchase, which cover defects like yellowing, staining, cracking, blistering, and delaminating.

What Are The Benefits Of Having Clear Bra PPF On My Vehicle?

The primary objective is to protect your vehicle from the elements. Whilst it will not stop a large stone from high speed damaging your vehicle, it will keep it protected from general stone chips and everyday life. This is good news for aesthetic reasons and aids the value of your vehicle by keeping it original and as new as possible. If the PPF remains undamaged, the paint beneath will look good as new if you ever decide to remove the film.

Can You Share More Information About The PPF Self-healing Feature?

Noyark high-quality self healing paint protection film contains a top layer. This top layer protects the urethane against surface scratches and common swirl marks. The most of scratches will be self-heal when exposed to heat – sun warms from engine running, warm water, heat gun.

However, if the scratch penetrates through the film’s clear coat, it will not heal.

The time it takes for a scratch to heal depends on the severity of the scratch and the ambient temperature. Minor scratches usually heal in one hour at room temperature (22°C). In warmer climates, healing time will be shorter. The healing process can be accelerated at any time by pouring hot water over the scratched area.

Can I Install Paint Protection Film PPF Myself?

Sure, you can and it’s possible to fit smaller sections at home. But for the quality installation, PPF requires professional skills, so it’s generally best left to the professionals. Also, we warranty our paint protective film only if a certified installer installed it.

How Long Does The PPF Invisible Bra Installation/Fitting Take?

That depends on how much is being fitted. It can take from a morning to a couple of days.

When Should I Get The Invisible Paint Protection Film Applied?

Ideally, paint-protection film is applied when a car is new, before it has suffered any wear and tear. If you choose to have a clear bra installed over fresh paint (non-original paint), the minimum waiting period is four weeks for the paint to dry and cure (all solvents evaporated).

Where Can I Install The PPF On The Car?

The clear bra is a solution to protect any smooth, painted surface, so you can decide whether to cover just the most vulnerable areas, such as the bumpers, bonnet and wheelarches, or whether to cover the entire car.

Will Paint Protection Film Yellowing?

Noyark PPF will not yellow or crack after installation, it is designed to resist staining and offers superior environmental resistance and gloss retention. The clear topcoat employs special elastomeric polymers that allow scratches in the surface to “heal” over time, eliminating the need for frequent polishing to maintain a just installed appearance.

How Do I Wash My Car With The PPF Paint Protective Film?

Although you can use pressure wash to wash your car or drive your car with PPF through an automatic car wash, hand wash is preferred and always better. The best to use regular car wash soap, rinse-free car wash or detail spray-on clear bra.

What Can I Use To Clean The Stain If It Does Not Come Off The PPF During Normal Washing?

If ordinary car wash or soap and water won’t remove a stain, there are a variety of products that can do the job. In most cases simple isopropyl rubbing alcohol will remove anything on the surface of the paint protection PPF film. In cases of more severe staining, or where something has been left on the clear bra film for a long period of time, a sparing amount of acetone or lacquer thinner can be used. Bug and tar remover is also effective. Do not spray chemicals on the surface. Use a soft microfiber cloth.

Can I Wax The Glossy Paint Protection Film?

Yes, you can, and we recommend a high quality wax to prolong the appearance of the PPF transparent paint protection film, but take extra care not to build up wax against the edges of the clear bra paint protection film.

Can I Apply A Coating On The Top Of Clear Bra PPF?

Yes, you can apply a ceramic or glass coating on the surface of car paint protection film, but it’s important to note that the coating should only be applied AFTER the vehicle paint protection film is installed. A lot of performance car owners will install a self-healing PPF on the front of their vehicle (where rock chips are common), then apply a high-quality ceramic coating on top of the invisible paint protection film and other parts of the vehicle. This provides ultimate protection and multiple benefits including:

♦ Improves your car’s shine.

♦ The ceramic coating applied on top of the paint protection film increases hydrophobic properties.

♦ Fewer and easier car washes due to the ceramic coating hydrophobic nature.

♦ Minimal maintenance required (less waxing) which saves you cash and time.

♦ Increased resistance to environmental, chemical, and physical damage.

♦ Keeps car sleek and newer for longer/ maintains your car’s value.

How Do I Maintain The Paint Protection Film?

There is no need for special maintenance for PPF.

Yes, you can and lift the car paint protection film ppf at a 45-degree angle and pull towards yourself, and this will cause the adhesive to release. Do Not fold the film over on itself and rip it off because it can leave adhesive behind. In cold weather environments, we recommend a steamer to aid in softening the film and adhesive for removal.

Will The Vehicle’s Paint Being Damaged When Removing The Clear Bra?
